I feel nothing, I feel sorter empty?

  • I'm not doing anything currently.

    I left my friends & university plus all other plans in England when my parents made the decision to move to America prematurely. I've been in the states since July. At first it was OK, I met people moved around, had somewhat a good time. But now everything's stale. I had to make a lot of plans on how I'll live in America, but a lot has been changing & I've had to keep changing plans along. It's very disappointing.

    Now, I've been trying to find a job for 3 weeks now but nothing. I spend all day at home with my bro doing nothing. Then my Dad takes us out in the evening to eat & for religious meetings. Personally I'm atheist, I've argued with him, but there's just no point anymore. He's also in financial crisis, obviously the gas guzzling pilgrimages he makes aren't helping much for him either.

    Recently I just don't feel anything, never happy, never sad, not even horny, and it sucks. Have I gotten used to the stress-less dull lifestyle?


  • The only reason why you are feeling why you are feeling what you are feeling is because you don't believe in God. God is the creator of the universe he sees all and knows all. Oh and not just believe in god, but also that Jesus Christ is the son of God and not just that but also in his teachings and TRY to understand it also, I'm a dummy when it comes to grammar and I can even understand the King James Version Holy Bible.

    Only people that don't believe in God feel what you feel. Me personally and my parents and brother, we all might have our bad days/weeks, but no matter how bad it gets, we still try to be happy, pray to Jesus Christ and good things come

    Nothing bad comes from praying for 30 seconds to Jesus Christ. It has always helped me.

    People like Obama dedicate thier lives to making everyone feel like yourself and worse. I mean as in taxing business owners to the point where to save money, they send thier jobs over seas and leave people like you without one.

    Obama is the Anti Christ and lies his a s s off on national television all the time contradicting his own words. Obama calls himself a christian which just makes me sick considering I'm an actual christian and I know he's not. He's friends to terrorists and has a extremely racist preacher who is a friend of his and has ties to ACORN that is fixing so many election ballots in his favor it's rediculous, in the millions, HA!!! 200,000+ in OHIO allone. It SCARES me to think a person like him could come president.

  • That's because you don't feel apart of anything. You have no say, no rights, no opinions, no cash flow and I think you feel totally stumped. All life is an energy force that cannot remain still so your situation MUST change. That is what life is about. Once you get out of the house, on your own, making your own decisions and feeling worthy about yourself, you'll feel much better about every aspect of your life. You'll feel love, passion, and eagerness to do things again. I just know it.
    P.S. I think the change in life location may have you a bit off kilter. Give yourself time to adjust and breathe again. Moving to another country is very life-altering.


  • most likely. but one good thing about this is, you have become strong now by not feeling any emotions. You are now insusceptible to pain and pleasure.

    I am the same way. Only, the cause for this is the other way around.. I live a very stressful, frugal life. And i believe strongly in God, the Father and the Holy Spirit..

  • Hello again, Sunny. You answered my question on proof about God. I know you are an atheist, maybe because your father or parents are very religious. I just want to contribute one thing to you - you do not need religion to believe in God - that's my secret, for what its worth.

    If you are feeling empty it is because you have, in fact, emptied yourself. Now is the time to fill 'er up. If you are bored, take up something you can afford to do. Look for creative ways to fill that void up. Despite all of our problems here in America, we are still the greatest nation on earth with the greatest opportunity for success.

    You can make your life a success if you set goals and stick to them. Set down and figure out some goals, and then start building your future. One step at a time. You can do it!

    Welcome to America - we are all struggling, but together, we will make it even better.

    I have already voted for Obama! By mail in ballot. We are going to experience one of the greatest experiences in our history in this next four years. Get ready to make your contribution!
